Meet the Team

Steve Thornton, Managing Director, feels strongly about rewarding our Armed Forces, Emergency Services and teaching professionals, and ensuring that we do the best we can for these personnel that dedicate themselves to our communities.

As he outlines: “I really enjoyed my time in the Army, with 4 Regt AAX, 669 Sqn, but I found it difficult to find companies that were in support of our troops, therefore, upon leaving the Army, it became my personal mission to find, secure and offer the best possible deals and service for my military colleagues, past and present.”

But Steve wanted to do more for his community. “There is increasing pressures on our emergency services and teachers and I wanted to recognise and reward these service personnel in the same way. We successfully pioneered this programme and are now proud to offer our service to so many deserving people.”

A proud ex-soldier, whose ethos lies in serving our every day heroes.

Meet the Team

I served with 4 Regt AAC, 669 Sqn and loved my time in the Army. I initially stayed in Germany on leaving the Army, going on to set up Forces Cars Direct Ltd in 2001 and formed Motor Source Group in 2013. As an ex-soldier it is important to me to reward others with the best possible discounts and service.

My family have strong links with the military and emergency services, with family members serving in the Army and my Mum in the NHS, so it is great to join a company that provides a service to give back to these services. Loves sweets, new clothes and animals.
